• Omega Alegria light (DK) weight cotton yarn (3 1/2 oz/186 yds/100g per skein):
2 skeins #18 bone
• Omega Perle #5 super fine (fingering) weight mercerized cotton yarn (1 3/4 oz/178 yds/50g per ball):
1 ball each #507 blue, #508 royal blue, #509 navy, #510 aqua and #514 light turquoise
• Size H/8/5mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle
GAUGE
15 dc = 4 inches; 11 rows = 6 inches
Pocket (gauge swatch): 4 1/2 inches wide x 6 inches long
PATTERN NOTES
Pocket and Mat are worked from side to side. To check gauge,
work Pocket first.
Weave in loose ends as work progresses.
Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.
Work embroidery in Color Sequence shown or as desired.
Even tension as embroidery is worked is critical. Work stitching
snugly but not so tightly that Mat puckers. To avoid bulky
joins, work each row with single strand.
