Herringbone Socks
These socks are sized for a woman’s medium foot and feature a lacey cuff with a plain foot worked in a lace pattern called Herringbone Lace.
This pattern features an easy to memorize repeat - no chart reading necessary! Perfect for someone new to lace who wants to try something just a little adventurous.
Skill level: Adventurous Beginner - you should be able to knit, purl and be comfortable with YO’s and decreases. The repeat is only 4 stitches, so even if you’ve never knit lace, this pattern will likely be do-able.
This would be a good first lacey pattern for someone who is familiar with sock construction.
Yarn: 2 skeins Nature Spun Sport weight 100% wool yarn, or 368 yards sport weight yarn
