Heritage Cardigan

This cardigan was on my needles for many of this year’s World Cup games. Watching Argentina and the United States compete inspired this design (two of the three countries that shape who I am; Italy didn’t make it to the tournament this year). Rooting for these countries brought back family memories that I started sharing with my son: familiar phrases in Spanish, dinners with family and stories I’d heard a hundred times. Size 6 (4 mm) 32” - 40” circular knitting needles
Size 6 (4 mm) 16” circular knitting needles (or DPNs for working sleeves)
Extra Size 6 (4 mm) (or similar size) knitting needles (for three needle bind off)
