Hereford
Hereford is a lovely women’s cardigan that is inspired by the fun fashions of the ‘60s. Knit in Valley Yarns Westfield, it features the slip stitch Thorn pattern adding texture and color on the fronts only, making it a little retro, a little modern, and a lot of fun to knit. With contrast color ribbing along the neck, cuffs, hems, and faux pocket edges, Hereford is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up, and then seamed. Sleeve stitches are picked up along the armhole edging, and worked down in the round to the contrast cuffs.
