Herb Alpin
HERB ALPIN AND HIS PINECONES
Herb is a fir. A fir that was born and raised in a wonderful forest, surrounded by his fir family and many other trees. His best friends are Peggy Nut, Cone Sue and Mary Pine, 3 pine cones whom he has shared all his playing moments with, since they were barely sprouts. The woods are ok, but Herb always wanted more, he wanted to see the world.
Sometimes Herb would see humans walking around his forrest. They would talk about magical places where trees wore lights, stars and other sparkling stuff. This is what he wanted! He wanted to shine!
I’m going to tell you something that you might don’t know about trees. They can walk. (Only if they want to, of course). There’s only a few of them willing to move away from their habitat, but from time to time you can see one, like Herb. They take their legs out for a walk and move all over the place. Herb has very beautiful legs with striped stocking.
Herb has already arrived in the city with his 3 friends. He has already a star and a nice scarf, made out with Christmas lights that fits him perfectly and makes him look very stylish.. Now, the only thing left is to find a new home! Would it be yours?
It’s an amigurumi pattern suitable for an Intermediate + level or level 4. It’s not difficult, but you have to know more than just the chain or single crochet. Herb Alpin is composed by several pieces, different shapes, stitches and techniques, so you won’t get bored and you’ll learn a lot of new stuff.
