Circumference: 47 cm, (18 1/2”)
Height/length: 21 cm, (8 1/4”)
Headband
Circumference: 40 (47) cm, 15 3/4” (18 1/2”)
Height/length: 11.5 cm (4 1/2”)
Yarn:
Fingering (50gram=175 meters/yards)
Cowl I: approx. 55 gram, 194 meters/ 212 yards
Headband: approx. 35 gram, 124 meters/135 yards
Gauge:
28 stitches x 40 row = 10 x 10 cm (3 15/16”)
35 stitches pattern = approx. 11.7 cm (3 5/8”)
Row 5-31= 6,5cm (2 ½”)
Circular needle 2.5 mm/1 ½ US, 40 cm (16”)

k2tog, increases, cable with 2 and 3 stitches
- cable can be knitted without a cable needle.
General
The size of the cowl can be varied by using thicker or thinner yarn and/or changing the needle size. You can also add repeats in width and height/length. Please note that by using another yarn, the requirements may be different than those stated.
Idea!
Knit one extra repeat on the cowl, make a ribbon and place it in the
last ribbed knitting, then you can use it as a hat.
