Hento is a simple, slightly oversized and light brioche pullover – the perfect all-rounder for your wardrobe. The sweater is knitted top down in the round using modified contiguous sleeve shaping. It is worked with two strands of yarn held together.

Or approx. 1217 (1365, 1394, 1507, 1619) (1708, 1820, 1933, 2046) yds / 1113 (1248, 1275, 1378, 1480) (1562, 1664, 1768, 1871) m of light fingering weight yarn.
5 (6, 6, 7, 7) (7, 8, 8, 9) skeins of Soft Silk Mohair by Knitting for Olive (70 % mohair, 30% silk, 246 yds / 225 m – 25 g), colourway Linen (brown sample) or colourway Rust (red sample). Or approx. 1217 (1365, 1394, 1507, 1619) (1708, 1820, 1933, 2046) yds / 1113 (1248, 1275, 1378, 1480) (1562, 1664, 1768, 1871) m of lace weight yarn.
The sweater is knitted with both strands of yarn held together throughout the pattern.
Needles: US 8 / 5 mm (for cast-om), US 7 / 4.5 mm (for body and sleeves), US 6 / 4 mm (for hem ribbing) and US 4 / 3.5 mm 32″ / 80 cm needles (or DPNs for cuffs and neck ribbing).
Notions: 4 stitch markers.
GAUGE
12 sts x 32 rnds to 4″ / 10 cm on US 7 / 4.5 mm needles in brioche stitch, after blocking.
