Henrietta and Family (FT209)
by Bev Galeskas
Stuffed softly, Henrietta makes a very good friend. With some weight added to her stuffing, she can also be used as a door stop.
Yarn Requirements: Choose a yarn that will felt easily and firmly. Finished size is controlled by your yarn choice and the amount of felting.
Yardage: Worsted weight, 350 yards main color and small amount of each contrast color for hen. Chicks require approximately 55 yards each plus 1 yard of contrast for beak, if desired.
Needles: Straight or circular needles in size 10.5 (7 mm)
Gauge: Approximately 13 to 14 stitches to 4” before felting. It is not necessary to get an exact gauge, but knitting must e loose to felt properly.
