Careful seaming brings the mohair body and linen bodice together in the Hemstitch Camisole. Andrea Babb adds a picot edging and narrow crocheted straps to create an ethereally sweet design.

Design note: Body is knit in the round to the front opening, then stitches are bound off for opening and remainder of the body is worked back and forth. Bust is shaped with short-rows. The insert is worked separately and sewn on.

Yarn: All sizes use only one skein of Euroflax Linen Sport Weight. Mohair is the main yarn.

Yarn Weight: #3 - Light

Needles: Body-size 9 (5.5 mm): 24” circular (cir). Insert-size 3 (3.25 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle; size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook.

Gauge: 14 sts and 21 rows = 4” in St_st with MC on larger needle; 22 sts and 34 rows = 4” in St st with CC on smaller needles.
