I fell in love with the Punta Edging technique which I used for a top in the last issue. I thought it would be fun for a tiered edging on a skirt. I chose 100% hemp for the design as I wanted a sturdy fabric.

The skirt is quite wide at the hem and is gradually narrowed to the waist through a series of decreases.
