Summer = Farmer’s Market = Market Bag!

I used hemp but it could also be made out of cotton or any other yarn.
This bag stretches to accommodate your items and folds nicely to be stashed away until needed.

It is large enough to carry everything you need for a wonderful day at the beach. It is perfect for a walk along the boardwalk or for everyday use. Hemp is washable, so no need to worry and it gets softer with every wash.

Diameter across the base is roughly 19” (48 cm)
It’s height from the outer rim of the top to the bottom is about 19” (48 cm) as well.
The strap measures 33” (84 cm) around (you could adjust this length, I tell you how in the pattern)
The long strap allows you to carry it as a messenger bag or you could carry it on your back with the straps over your shoulders!

It also makes wonderful gift for years to come!

Skills: knit, purl (only a few rows!), k2tog, ssk, bind off, knitted cast on. Helpful pictures and stitch descriptions have been added throughout the pattern.
