Informasjon om settet

Dette settet ble til da jeg var gravid og skulle få en novemberbaby. Jeg hadde et ønske om et enkelt, delikat og mykt sett til hennes første jul. Settet består av to deler, en genser og en bukse. Det kan strikkes med en eller to tråder. Det kan strikkes med eller uten volang. Genseren har litt bevegelsesvidde , men buksen er strammere for at den skal sitte godt og holde seg oppe. Men mål gjerne selv og finn ut hvilken størrelse som passer best. Jeg har tatt utgangspunkt i standard mål og da er for eksempel en vanlig størrelse 5-6mnd har brystmål på ca 42 cm. Det er lagt inn ca 8 cm ekstra i plaggets design, slik at om du følger størrelse 5-6mnd vil du få en genser med ca 50 cm i overvidde. Når det kommer til buksen har for eksempel en typisk 5-6mnd livvidde på 41 cm, men buksen har 1 cm mindre.

About the set

This set came about when I was pregnant and was going to have a November baby. I wanted a simple, delicate and soft look for her first Christmas. This set consists of two parts- a sweater and trousers. You can knit it with one or two threads, with or without a ruffle. The sweater has some range of motion, but the pants are tighter to keep them in place and help them stay up. You can always measure the child yourself and find out which size fits best. I have designed based on the standard sizes. For example, a normal size 5-6 months has a chest size of about 42 cm. An extra 8 cm are added to the garment measures, so if you follow the size 5-6 months you will get a sweater with about 50 cm in width. When it comes to pants, for example, a typical 5-6 month has a leg length of 41 cm- but these pants are 1 cm shorter.

The sweater is knit top-down. The neckline is worked back and forth, with a little extra length for attaching the button, at the opposite end of the buttonhole. From then, you will knit in the round and increase with raglan increases, and divide the sleeves and the body. The sleeves are knit in the round to the wrists, with decreases. The body is also knit in the round, with no decreases. If you’d like the body to be longer you can double the length of the ribs.

The pants are also knit top-down, with short rows for a higher and better fit on the bottom. You will divide the legs and increase in the middle for the crotch. The legs are knit in the round with decreases.
