Hellu is a casual and comfortable pullover that is worked seamlessly top down with raglan increases. Hellu is knitted with the wrong side out and is turned inside out after knitting so that the purl side becomes the right side. The unique feature of this basic pullover is the “seams” created by the two knit stitch columns that continue from between the raglan increases down to the hem and sleeves. The pattern provides separate sleeve and hem lengths for men and women.

Hellu is the Finnish word for beloved.
