Helgi the Dragon is the third pattern in the Yarnigans Fantasy Forest series. He’s 14” tall and knitted in a rather loose gauge for a toy, so he’s quite floppy and soft. Much of the dragon is worked in the round on double pointed needles, but his wings and spikes on his back are knitted flat, separately, and sewn on. This pattern requires a knowledge of knitting in the round, as well as basic increases and decreases.
