Hedge Maze Wrap
The Hedge Maze Wrap takes us to an old English Manor house where we can tour the house and gardens and spend some time walking an ancient maze before having high tea. This wrap is formed with a background of brioche rib that mimics the appearance of the bark of a tree. In botany, the cortex of a tree is a layer found just under the bark and you can imagine the purl valleys of the shawl showing that structure peaking out through cracks in the bark. The diamond design used in this project puts a modern brioche spin on a classic moss stitch filled cable motif used in sweater designs for generations. This cozy wrap will reflect the beauty of the trees and shrubs in our garden, while warming you with the embrace of the history of many gardeners and knitters before you.
