Hedda hat
The “Hedda hat” is a slouchy beanie worked bottom-up in the round, with a striped brim and some simple and stylish colorwork, a perfect project to get into stranded knitting. Instructions are given for four different sizes.

SIZES:
Circumference at the brim:
XS – 46 cm/18”
S - 50 cm/19¾“
M – 54 cm/21½”
L – 58 cm/22¾“
Length:
23.5 cm/10” for all sizes.
Sample shown in size S on a 53.5 cm/21” circumference head.
NEEDLES:
2.5 mm/US 1½ circular needle (40 cm/16”) or dpn´s for brim
3 mm/US 2½ circular needle (40 cm/16”) or dpn´s for body
3 mm/US 2½ long circular needle to knit the crown with the magic loop method or dpn´s.
YARN:
Tosh Merino Light
(100% Merino; 384 m (420 yds)/100 g) or any other fingering weight yarn that gives you the correct gauge.
Sample shown in colorways Jade (C1), Silverfox (C2).
YARDAGE:
C1: approx. 89 (98, 106, 114) m/97 (107, 116, 125) yds;
C2: approx. 104 (114, 124, 134) m/114 (125, 136, 147) yds;
Please note that the amount of yarn is an estimate, and it might vary according to your tension.
GAUGE:
28 sts and 36 rows = 10 cm/4” on larger needle in
Stockinette worked in the round (blocked).
