A textured hat pattern with instructions for using either a bulky weight yarn or a worsted weight yarn. Clarification on weights and gauge for each yarn type below:
•Worsted/aran
(150) yards worsted weight yarn and US size 8 needle, both 16” and DPNS
Gauge in stockinette stitch: 18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches
•Bulky
(120) yards bulky weight yarn and US size 10 needles, both 16” and DPNS
Gauge in stockinette stitch: 14 stitches x about 19 rows=4 inches
