Hearts and Kisses was designed as an simple but sweet one-colour baby blanket.

The finished size is approx. 72cm by 74cm but it can be adapted to any size, provided you adjust your yarn quantities (width can be changed in multiples of 40 sts, so adjust starting chain in multiples of 40)

The original sample used Malabar Aran which is a blend of lofty cotton and silk, giving it weight, softness and warmth, perfect to snuggle under. However this yarn is no longer ready available. A very good value alternative is Stylecraft Special Aran which comes in a wider range of colours or any aran weight yarn.
