Hearts & Diamonds surrounds your head with color, keeping it warm even on a winter beach day (aka July in San Francisco). Background or pattern, one remains the same while you change colors every few rounds for the other. Make it light or dark, and the rest of the colors will POP!

Note: This pattern uses charts for specifying when to change colors.

You will need approximately 20 yds each #4 weight yarn in 8 colors. These samples were made in Universal Yarn Deluxe Worsted, 1 skein each in 12505 Rust A, 12506 Azure B, 12507 Shamrock Heather C, 12182 Gold Spice D, 12176 Teal Viper E, 12275 Mulberry F, 12509 Mulberry Heather G, 14016 Ice Flow H.
