This is a 10 page written pattern with lots of photos illustrating every step of the process.
Add as many leaves as you want or make just one. There’s no sewing involved (other than weaving in ends)
You can increase or decrease the size of the motif by using a slightly smaller or larger hook. I’ve used a 1.5mm hook, but any hook from 1.25mm to 2mm should go well with this yarn weight.
To make the motif in this pattern you need a small amount (depending on how many leaves you add) of 2 ply mercerised cotton, an adequate hook as explained above, a pair of scissors and a tapestry needle. Glass head pins are optional, in case you wish to block your motif, once finished (instructions in the pattern).
The stitches used are: slip stitch, chains, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble. You need to be familiar with these stitches as they are not explained in the pattern.
