Materials:

100 g for a medium-sized beanie and 200g for the hat with a wide fold.
Solid colours, tweeds, hand-dyed yarns. Variegated yarns will obscure the stitch pattern but can add other interesting effects. Z-twist yarns are not recommended for this kind of stitching.
