Pattern note: When working lace patt from chart, do NOT work a dec (“k2tog,” “sl1, k1, psso” or “sl1, k2tog, psso”) if there are insufficient sts to work the corresponding inc (“yfwd”) to ensure number of sts remains constant (except where shaping occurs). You may find it easiest to place markers at bed and end of patt reps, working edge sts in st st and moving markers in (or out) as required.
