Constuction Notes
The Haven Harbor Slipover Vest is worked seamlessly from the top down. The collar is knit in the round in half fisherman’s rib, then transitions directly into the shoulders. Shoulder width is shaped with steep increases. Once the shoulders are established, the front and back are separated and worked flat to form the armhole depth, with subtle decreases along the edges for a refined, sculpted shape. The front and back are then joined and worked in the round for the body. The armholes are finished with a clean i-cord edge, adding polish to the textured fabric. The length of both the body and armholes can be easily adjusted to suit your preferred fit.

Gauge
18 STS + 20 rows/rounds = 4 in/10 cm on main body needle in half fisherman’s rib stitch blocked.

Please note that stitch gauge is measured by counting the visible knit and purl stitch columns across 4 in/10 cm, and row gauge is measured by counting the visible rows (each formed by two knitted rows) over 4 in/10 cm. If your gauge differs when working flat vs. in the round, adjust needle size as needed to match the pattern gauge.
