Have Ewe Any Wool?
For the sheep, I knew that a woolly texture was necessary, but what else makes a sheep a sheep? The ears! Until I sewed on the sheepy ears she wasn’t a true ewe.
Also, while the “sheepy” yarn specified for Have Ewe Any Wool? is still available in many shops, it has been discontinued as a yarn that Stacy Charles will import. Here is a great alternate:
Baby Alpaca Ultimo, by Plymouth Yarns
90% Baby Alpaca, 10% Nylon
100 grams, approximately 109 yds.
