These hats are knit sideways in either one color or as many as you would like. The tails are made at one end of each row and after seam is complete, the tails are braided using 9 strands per braid.

The doll hat is knit on Us 3 needles with fingering weight yarn, the kids hat is knit on US8 needles in worsted weight yarn.
