Hartshorne
Hartshorne Woods is the local trail system where I often run and is the inspiration for this shawl. The chart pattern represents the undulating hills in the trails and the edging highlights the leaves that crunch under my feet when I run. Designed in NJ Fiberworks MCN High Twist with colors that were inspired by photos taken in the woods, this shawl represents everything about my happy place.

NOTES
• Shawl begins with a garter tab CO and is worked top-down.
• 6 sts are inc’d on RS rows to form a shallow yet wide triangle shawl.
• Leaf edging is created by performing a Cable CO and ‘eating’ up the shawl stitches by one stitch every other row as the edging is knit perpendicular to shawl body.
• A traditional stretchy BO may be used in lieu of edging.
