The fabric of the Harrow Tam resembles a field after harrowing, a method for smoothing out the surface of the soil to prepare it for sowing seed. This tam is part of the Homegrown Hat Collection, and its simple, even cable and lace stitch patterns are quick to learn, making it a fun knit.

The Harrow Tam uses only half a skein of Bare Naked Wools Stone Soup Fingering, so the other half could be used to make its sister, the Espalier Tam!

Both these sister tams are a part of the Homegrown Hat Collection, where you may find more hats you’d like to knit.
