Difficulty Level: Intermediate

Available Sizes: Preemie Baby, Child, Tween, Adult

Finished Measurements: Hat Circumference 8 ¾, 13 ¼, 15 ½, 18 ½, 20 ¾ inches; Hat height 4 ½, 6 ¼, 7 ¾, 8 ½, 9 ¼ inches.

Yarn: Cascade Yarns Pacific & Pacific Prints (60% Acrylic, 40% Superwash Merino Wool; 213 yds; 100 g; yarn weight category 4/Medium/Worsted): 1 skein each Pacific Prints #608 Seaside (color A) and Pacific #01 Cream (color B).

Yardage: 10, 30, 35, 55, 65 yds color A; 40, 65, 75, 90, 85 yds color B

Crochet Hook: 7 mm and K (6.5 mm) for Preemie, Baby, and Tween sizes; I (5.5 mm) and H (5 mm) for Child and Adult sizes. Adjust hook sizes if needed to match gauge.

Notions: Tapestry needle, ½ inch button, sewing needle and thread to match color A, faux fur pom.

Gauge: With largest hook 3 rnds of granny square = 4 inches; with third largest hook 4 rnds of granny square = 4 ½ inches.

Notes

You will first crochet five granny squares and then seam them together. The ribbed brim is then added to the bottom.
