Dramatic and elegant, this pullover sweater has a few more twists and turns than other patterns in this book, but once you understand the stitch, it's not that complicated. The subtle diamond pattern is created by purling a stitch from a previous row together with a stitch from the current row on which you are knitting. Initially, the fabric will pucker, giving almost a scalloped look, but as you continue to work the pattern, the knitting will flatten out.

Requires size 10 1/2 straight needles and 24” size 13 circular needle.
