Happy Days Cardigan
The Happy Days cardigan is a fun, practical cropped crochet cardigan, designed with a nod to the nostalgia of the 1950’s hey days.
Skill Level
Knowledge of basic crochet stitches, techniques and terminology is assumed. The pattern is made with a simple stitch pattern which uses the extended single crochet (which is described in the pattern along with a video tutorial link). It has minimal sewing and uses the back loop ribbing section to create the shape.
The pattern includes a photo tutorial to assist with construction and a schematic.
Sizing
The pattern is written in 9 women’s sizes from XS-5XL to fit chest 76-158cm
Approximate finished measurements of each size are included in the pattern to help you choose which size best suits. Tips for adjusting the size in various places are also included throughout the pattern.

Crochet Hook: 6mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge. I used a 5.5mm hook for the blue sample used in the construction images after using a 6mm hook for the pink and orange sample

The orange and pink item pictured uses Knitcraft In The Zone yarn which has now been discontinued. The blue sample pictured usesThis blue version uses a currently available yarn; Wendy Aran with Wool Tweed in colourway River (5703), 77% acrylic, 20% wool, 3% viscose.
