This contains two separate patterns for a medium sized bird and a small bird. Together they make a bird family! The pattern is in written instructions with a few pictures that could be used as references.

Gauge is not essential to this, so depending on what size yarn you use, the birds could really end up being any size. The thicker the yarn, the bigger the birds and vice versa. Either way, it’s a quick project you can do while in between other projects, in the car, or just in your travel bag.

They turn out really cute, and if you wanted you could even make a few of the small ones and turn it into a mobile for a baby’s room!

For this project you will need the basics: a G hook, fiberfill stuffing, plastic safety eyes, a needle for sewing
