A jolly zigzagging tubular cowl, to encourage colour play. Hap-nap is an old Scots word meaning happenstance or chance.

9 shades of your choice. 1 shade is used for the edging, the other 8 are to be arranged in your preferred stripe sequence.

Use 4mm needle as a starting point for swatching.

Pattern notes
Knitted in the round all in one piece, following a simple, chevron lace pattern, this cowl is the ideal small canvas for exploring colour and having fun with small amounts of yarn. Begin by choosing shades, developing your own stripe sequence, and colouring in your custom-made chart. Chart is read from right to left throughout.
