The Hanya pattern is written in two silhouettes, a long straight slouch or a larger mushroom style slouch. The straight slouch continues from the ribbing without any increases. Essentially it’s a beanie that is worked longer than normal. The mushroom style slouch increases in stitches after the ribbing to create a looser fitting top. (This style is great for curly haired folks!)
