handlebar moustache
If you wish to use this pattern to make moustaches for Movember fundraising, that is brilliant and I absolutely give permission, just drop me a line to let me know you’re doing it.
On a personal note I would love to know how it went for you (and see pictures).
This pattern was initially written for the Stitch and Bitch London knit crawl in 2009 as part of a set of patterns. It is now available seperately as a crochet pattern as its listing under knitting patterns makes it harder for crocheters to find it.
The pattern can be made in any weight of yarn, as long as the hook size corresponds to it.
Note to UK crocheters: This pattern uses US style notation. For a quick conversion (US to UK)
sc = dc (double crochet)
dc = tc (treble crochet)
hdc = half treble crochet
tc = double treble crochet
