When Sugarplum Circus approached me with working a Cozy themed collab with their newest yarn base, Luxe Aran, I knew I had the perfect design in mind for this cozy collab!

Hanajima is worked from the thinnest end of the triangle and slowly increased until it is wide enough to add in the different panels of texture or lace. The directions are listed for two specific sizes that will take either three or four skeins of Sugarplum Circus Luxe Aran, but is easy to end whenever you feel it has grown large enough.

After you get into the rhythm of the pattern, Hanajima is great tv knitting. Perfect to knit a cozy shawl in your favorite cozy spot! :o)

Note about finished dimensions: pre-blocking, the length of longest edge for the smaller size was only 62” 157cm. Wet blocking is recommended to get the most out of blocking. This shawl was not aggressively blocked, so you could potentially get more length if you did.

Model is wearing the larger size.
