This pattern works very well if you are looking for a basic hat pattern knitted in the round out of DK Weight Yarn.
(But there are a few purl rows in the ears)

The edge with roll automatically and if you are making the hat for a little child and your hat is a little too big you just roll it up a bit.

The ears are knitted separately and will be sewn on the hat.

The pattern is easy to understand and suitable for a beginner.
