Note
Hakuji is a boxy, cabled pullover worked from the bottom up. The body is worked in the round to the underarm, then the front and back are worked separately back and forth to the
shoulders, which are joined with 3-needle bind off.
The pullover can be worn WS out. Enjoy different faces of cables.

US 6 / 4 mm and US 5 / 3.75 mm circular needle, 24” / 60 cm or longer
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

22 sts and 30 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch with US 6 / 4 mm needle
48 sts and 48 rows = 6” x 6” / 15 cm x 15 cm in Cable pattern with US 6 / 4 mm needle

Note
Hakujiはクロップ丈で身幅がゆったりとしたボックス型のプルオーバーです。裾から編み始め、脇下まで輪で編みます。
脇下から肩まで往復で編み、身頃を編み終えたら肩を中表に合わせ3本針の伏せ止めをします。袖ぐりから拾い目をして袖を編みます。おおらかなケーブル模様には表面・裏面それぞれに表情があり、リバーシブルで着用することも可能です。それぞれのケーブルが持つ雰囲気を楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。
