Circumference at brim: 18” / 46 cm
Length from brim to crown as worn: 8 ½” / 22 cm
Needles
US 4 / 3.5mm circular needle, 16” / 40cm length (for body of hat)
US 6 / 3mm circular needle, 16” / 40cm length (for brim)
US 6 / 4mm DPNs or long circular needle (if working magic loop for crown of hat)
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

DK weight yarn in the following amounts:
MC: 70 yds / 65 m
CC1 25 yds / 23 m
CC2: 55 yds / 50 m
CC3: 18 yds / 16 m
CC4: 18 yds / 16 m
CC5: 12 yds / 11 m

Notions 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge
25 sts & 27 rounds = 4” / 10cm over Fair Isle Pattern on US 6 / 4 mm needles after blocking
24 sts & 32 rounds = 4” / 10cm in Rib Pattern on US 4 / 3.5 mm needles after blocking
Construction
This hat is worked bottom up beginning with a 1x1 ribbing section and followed by stranded knitting.
It is possible to get a second hat out of the same 6 balls of yarn by swapping around the color placement.
Shaela (or CC5) would need to become the MC.
