Hägring was originally designed by Bohus Stickning / Kerstin Olsson in 1966. Hägring was recreated by Pernille Silfverberg in 2016.

Most of Hägring is knit in 100% wool. The pattern yarns (apart from the natural colors) are hand dyed by Pernille to match the original Bohus Stickning pattern colors. The white main color in the patterned part and neck are white yarn in 50% angora/50% merino.
The angora comes from AngoraGarnet’s own angora rabbits. We guarantee that our rabbits are treated humanely and live healthy lives. We also guarantee that the merino wool we use is produced without the controversial practice of mulesing.
