The Hagrid illusion knit is based on the character from the J.K.Rowling Harry Potter books.

Although the design shown is a shawl it could easily be changed to be a centre piece for an afghan or bedspread or as a panel on a wall hanging.

One of the photographs shows the view when looking directly onto the shawl.

The original Hagrid shawl that I knitted I gave, as a present, to Ann Kingstone. 0ne of the photographs is of this shawl hanging in her house.

As well as the charted design for the shawl the written instructions are now also available. The conversion from the chart to the written instructions was completed by Donna Richmond.
