Cardigan is worked in one piece from hem to underarm, then upper back and upper fronts are split to work separately while armhole and front neckline shaping takes place. Sleeves are worked separately in the round and sleeve caps are shaped in the set-in manner.The collar is knit separately. Pieces are then blocked. The sleeve caps are set in. The collar is then set in all around the fronts and back neckline using tapestry needle and Mattress stitch. Since the patterning on the collar is reversible, you can choose to have the wrong side of collar be public. Once decided, please set the collar in accordingly.
