Inspiration
Fairies are always part of children’s literature. They bring this magical touch, which is always part of our early years. I always wanted to knit a fairy sweater for my daughter Zoe, where the fairy was not only shaped by color change, but also by texture and lace work.

What do you need to know?
To knit and purl, simple increase and decrease, double decrease from the front and back. If you have not tried any of these techniques, you will learn them with this pattern. The more complicated techniques and the Fairy knitting are supported by videos.

• Yarn: Drops Merino Extra fine – 50gr; Each skein has 115 yds/105m. Merino Superwash Wool (100%)
• Amount Main color – A. 4 (5, 6, 7, 7, 8) 50 gr skeins.
• Total in meter, if using another yarn: 400 (500, 550, 660, 740, 840) m. Total in yards 440 (530, 590, 720, 780, 910) yards Dress color- B. 3 gr pro Fairy Face color – C. 1 gr pro Fairy Hair color – D yarns leftovers
• Other yarn suggestions
• Needles 4 mm (US 6) and 3.5 mm (US 4) – only for the collar
• Markers for delimiting the fairies
• 3 mm hook for the hair construction
• Waste yarn or stitch holders
• Tapestry needle for finishing off the fairy

Gauge
In a 10 x 10 cm (4 in x 4 in) square you should have 20 sts and 27 rows. Knit the swatch with stockinette stitch and block it.

Construction notes
The sweater is knitted flat from bottom to top. The front and back are knitted separately. After knitting the sleeves, sew the parts together I recommend you to work the back fist, since it is only worked in Reverse st st, so that when you work the front, you can focus on the fairies.

Las hadas están siempre presente en la literatura infantil y siempre aportan ese toque mágico característico de los primeros años de vida. Quería hacer para mi hija Zoe un jersey con hadas, en el que que la forma del hada no la diera meramente el cambio de color, sino que también se jugara con las texturas y los calados para dar forma a este personaje mágico.

Requisitos previos
Saber tejer derecho, revés, hacer aumentos y disminuciones simples y dobles por el derecho y revés de la labor. Si no lo has probado, lo aprenderás en este patrón. Los puntos más complicados y la elaboración del hada vienen acompañados de videos.

Tejido de muestra
En un cuadrado tejido de 10 x 10 cm obtendrás 20 puntos por 27 pasadas con una aguja de 4 mm (la muestra está bloqueada).

Notas de construcción
El jersey está tejido en plano, de arriba abajo. El delantero y trasero se tejen por separado.
Finalmente se completan las mangas tejidas en plano y se unen las piezas. Te recomiendo que
tejas primero el trasero que es liso y te ayudará para luego centrarte en el esquema de las hadas en
el delantero.
