Beyond Toes: Knitting Adventures with Judy's Magic Cast-On

I had knit several watch caps for my husband, ToolMan, from my handspun yarns. But he wanted a traditional golf, or driving cap. Knowing how the fabric caps of this kind are constructed, I thought about designing one that would be knit, with more shaping, with lining and an interior hatband to give it a more traditional, tailored appearance. With JMCO, it all clicked together; the construction problems I’d rolling around in my head were solved! And now, here it is for you. Enjoy!
About the book…
Ever wonder if Judy’s Magic Cast-On could be used outside of socks? Judy Becker shows five ways to use JMCO. Twenty-three patterns from twenty-one designers showcase each clearly illustrated technique. Adventurous knitters will find fun projects and a treasure map to explore.
