Gwen was inspired by the birth of my neice, Gwen River. It is a sweet baby bonnet knit from the front edge featuring a scalloped lace edge and slipped stitch garter body. The body is knit flat and joined in the round to shape the crown. The ties are knit using i-cord and applied directly to the bottom edge as you knit.

An i-cord edging tutorial is available here.
