This is a re-creation of a 17th-century piece from Shetland. The author spun one ounce each of three colors of North Ronaldsay fiber to make her yarn, which came out 15-16 wpi.

The cast-on is unusual; a knit cast on combined with crocheted chains to make drawstring loops.
