It all began with a very fun skein of multicolored yarn and a desire to really showcase the yarn, along with an equal desire to create a top-down garment that was not a circular yoke. When I came across the Gum Drop stitch in one of my stitch dictionaries, I knew it was the perfect stitch for showcasing this fun yarn. It’s a very potato-chippy type of pattern as you move through the different colors watching the magic happen.
