These socks incorporate a feather & fan pattern along with a gull cable stitch, hence the name Gull Feathers.

The feather & fan portion creates ripples that will showcase a self-striping yarn, although these socks would also be striking in a solid or tonal yarn.

There are two sizes available - 70 sts and 78 sts. The pattern can be made smaller using smaller needles and/or a lighter fingering weight yarn. To make it larger, columns of knits may be added on either side of the chart, or the socks may be knit with larger needles and heavier fingering or even sport weight yarn.
