Do you know meringue? GUF is the Danish word for unbaked meringue - soft, fluffy and very sweet. And so is the GUF sweater.

The GUF sweater is knitted in 1X1 rib pattern with cables. Sometimes you don’t have enough stitches for a cable - for example on the upper body and in the beginning of the sleeves. Here, knit the stitches in rib, and when there are stitches enough, follow the chart with cables.
The sweater is worked in the round from bottom and up until armholes. The upper part of body is worked back and forth. It has set-in sleeves, worked in the round.

Materials:
200 / 200 / 250 / 300 g alpaca - 180 m (198 yd) / 50 g.
60 cm (24”) circular needle size 3.5 mm (US 4)
1 set of double pointed needles size 3.5 mm (US 4)
1 cable needle
1 button
2 stitch markers
