I liked the idea of his 2 different sides working together in harmony, so his socks are meant to resemble a padded military combat uniform on one side and the strings of a baliset on the other. Guerney had the ability to adapt and blend in anywhere among anyone, so these socks are interesting enough to be worked in a solid color, but will enhance and not over shadow a striped or patterned yarn. Socks are worked top down with a short row garter heel and toe. They are comfortable and squishy and an easy knit using only knit and purl stitches!
