Grizabella is a traiangular shawl knitted from the neck and down. It features a classical estonian cat paws lace pattern in the body and the edging, and has a border with lovley cats worked with nupps. This shawl is a must for every cat lover.
The pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters. Specific required skills are listed below. The pattern is both charted and written. The pattern has been test knitted and professionally tech edited to reduce the possibility for error, but if you have questions or believe that you have found an error, please contact me.
Required skills: 
Cast on with garter stitch tab 
Knit and purl 
Lace knitting (yo, k2tog, k3tog, ssk, sssk, ‘sl 1, k2tog, psso’) 
nupps 
Bind off
Finished measurements: 
Length: 64”/162 cm 
Width: 36”/91 cm 
Instructions on how to make the shawl larger is given.
Recommended yarn: 
JaggerSpun Zephyr Wool-Silk 2/18 50 % merino, 50 % tussah silk; 630 yd/576 m per 56 g skein Color: Pewter. 2 skeins. 
Approximately 1100 yd/1000 m of lace weight yarn.
Needles & notions: 
US #4/3.5 mm circular or straight needles, or the needles that gives you a fabric you like. 
Tapestry needle
Gauge: 
18 sts/32 rows = 4”/10 cm in lace stitch after blocking. 
Gauge is not important in this pattern, but a different gauge will affect the finished size and the yarn requirement.
